| Details: Quality Manager, ManufacturingBy applying leading edge experience and technology, Armacell has become a global leader in engineered foams and rubber products used in automotive, industrial, sports, leisure and recreation, packaging, construction and a wide range of custom applications. With 20 manufacturing facilities in 14 countries worldwide, Armacell is in a strong position to service market requirements for the broadest range of technical insulation and high-performance specialty foam products.  We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager for our Spencer, WV facility. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide leadership and guidance for the plant quality systems and laboratory personnel and ensure Armacell quality standards activities are met so that all products produced at the facility are on time, delightful to the customer, and are the best cost products in the marketplace.Responsibilities include:•   Develop, initiate and coordinate quality and continuous improvement.•   Coordinate quality certification activities and maintain certification standards and testing for the plant. •   Supervise the quality staff and quality assurance lab. •   Ensure the outgoing product quality level is continuously improving. •   Measure, track, and improve both quality system input and quality performance output metrics. •   Remain abreast of gauging, inspection and statistical technology and manage customer quality audits and surveys. •   Visit customers and suppliers as necessary to support plant quality efforts. •   Maintain an awareness of customer quality system requirements as part of all customer compliance activities.•   Ensure technical capabilities in the lab to support all required testing, auditing, and analysis.•   Provide quality support in the development of new products, process and services.•   Ensure policies and procedures regarding quality assurance and improvement are adhered to during all manufacturing processes.•   Oversee and assist in developing and carrying out strategies to ensure optimum process and product control in the facility. | ||||
