The General Warehouse Worker (GW) is responsible for the expedient and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the warehouse facility. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Move merchandise by hand, hand truck, or forklift equipment to maintain continuous flow of merchandise. Meet department demands without sacrificing quality. Maintain an acceptable level of attendance based on attendance policy. Ensure safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Read and speak the English language proficiently enough to communicate with co-workers; to understand and provide directions; to respond to management inquiries and to make entries on reports and records.
